problem with pb and game crashes help needed

I start up cod, i find server,i connect,i start to go around on map for about 10 seconds to 5 Min's, I am disconnected for,???
this comes up on my screen.
RESTRICTION:Service Communication Failure:PnkBstr8.exe heartbeat stopped.
I update Punkbuster over and over and over and nothing fixes the problem. then other problem is  the game crashes with no information given other then Cod has encountered a problem and needs to close windows will notify you if a solution is found and it never tell me what is wrong  and never finds a solution EVER. I have updated Codwaw all patches punkbuster over and over I downloaded all DirectX updates I updated my Video and sound and motherboard drivers and still these problems will not go away. I need help I have searched the web for these problems and Nothing. there is not one web site that can tell what is wrong. i have asked and asked on other sites  (only because this site is so hard to navigate) I log in and it keeps saying my password or email is wrong  then after the 5Th time it allowed me to log in the site design looks good but well I hate its design and layout. but that's not important  what is important is getting the game to work. I bought this pc because I do not have or make enough money to get all the best there is for pc gaming I live on $394.00 a month. so I have to make due with what I have.Please help thank you. I might not be able to login ever again??? so contact me through email if you can i don't understand the log in problem but i hope it does not happen again. I'll try again later to see if there is a reply to this if i can hopefully its not someone being nasty and insulting towards me. maybe it will be someone who gives a darn and can help.

Can't 'Start New Server'

So when I go to start a new server in multiplayer, this is the sequence:  Click Start New Server, Select parameters, Click Start, WaW closes and the CoDWaW console comes up, a bunch of text flies by, and I end up with the text below in the console, and then nothing??  I restart WaW and my server is not present. 

So what is my problem and how do I fix it so I can start me own servers?  Thanks for any info.

hi guys
can some one help me please

i installed cod 5 this last week
i also installed all the patches

The game runs fine in multiplayer only with the standard maps!!!
when i try to load a map from 1 of the 3 mappacks it loads a while and than
the game crashed with this Direct3ddevice9:: present failed: driver internal error

i only have that with maps from the map pack
i updated my directx and video driver and the error is still there

the grapighcard i use is a
ATI radeon
512 mb
x1650 pro

does any one knows a solution ???
PLEASE CAN SOME ONE HELP!!!

Why does my SinglePlayer not work? (PC)

Whenever i put in the DVD (This is for PC), It pops up the menu with singleplayer, multiplayer,etc.. But when i press Singleplayer,it says "Please insert the correct DVD-ROM, select OK and restart application." Can you please help me.(multiplayer is fine)

PS3 Controller not working correctly

Please help!
I am posting after hours of searching for a possible solution.  I have played black ops since the release date and just recently downloaded the add-on for it.  Ever since the download any controller you connect to my ps3 has this same issue...

I use L3 for sprint and it will inadvertently throw flash bombs / grab the claymore mine and also throw frags without using the L1/L2 / up feature on the key pad.  Pressing the L3 stick will also swap weapons at random. It makes it nearly impossible to play the game now.  I flash bomb myself all the time and we all know how that goes in battle.

I have tried to reset the controllers and they just do the same thing over again. 

Is there a fix for this.  I have been able to duplicate the issue on both of my controllers and also 2 of my friends controllers.  Their controllers go back to normal when they play on their systems.  What gives?  Any ideas?

It only seems to happen on the L3 Stick.  Is anyone else having this problem?

Fixing Strict NAT Types for a Thomson TG782T Router on a PS3

First of all, obtain a Terminal Console program. I highly recommend PuTTY, which can be obtained from this download link:

Open PuTTY and type in your router's homepage in the entry labelled 'Host Name (or IP address)'. (Your router homepage will be either 10.0.0.138 or 192.168.1.254, and both should work) and choose the 'Telnet' option underneath it.


A Command Prompt-like interface will open, and you'll be asked to enter the Username and Password required to access your router. (Your Username should be 'admin' and your Password should be [blank], so just press the enter key. Use your own Username and Password if you have changed them).


Once you have logged into your router, copy the following lines and paste them into PuTTY's interface (Copy each line, one at a time, and use the Right Mouse Click to paste):

connection bind application CONE(UDP) port=3478-3479


connection bind application CONE(UDP) port=3074-3075


connection bind application CONE(UDP) port=3658


saveall




Close the session.


Flick the router's power switch off, then on.


You should have Open NAT when you play Black Ops now.

Black Ops Launch Error Code

I've recently tried to launch Black ops on Steam on my computer but an error code keeps coming up when ever i try to launch it!


[Error during initialization:
Failed to validate c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\call of duty black ops\main\localized_English_iw06.iwd]

^That error code suggest that some of my files are corrupted/missing? I have tried to re-install black ops but it doesn't really do anything! Please help!

I was bored on Black Ops and watched a theater video that said "wtf" I figured it was an across map tomahawk so I watched it. These green numbers popped up on the bottom of my screen. I shut off my Xbox immediately. I got back on the game and it said on the introduction credits "Server error."  I didn't even try to get online due to the fact I was just on the introduction credits. -_-

Impossible to connect to live. WTF TREYARCH! I bought this game three times because my game always broke in my old xbox. Bought every map pack.

 

THAT MEANS I ******* SPENT $250+ (including tax) ON NOTHING!


 

I have a suggestion for this


problem though. Delete


the old server we have currently


and bring upon a new one.

ERROR: Could not find zone

Hello

I was attempting to install a custom zombie mod, then i got this error.

ERROR: Could not find zone 'C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty - World at War\zone\(null)\code_post_gfx.ff'

I was booted back to my desktop and havent been able to play since. I didnt delete anything, change anything, or move anything. Could you please help.

Also before I get this error i get a message saying "WIN_IMPROPER_QUIT_BODY" and my options are YES  NO   CANCEL and no matter which i choose (except cancel) i get the above noted error

This issue has been fixed. Here's the post posted by TOKAE. All credits go to his post at page 5. Thanks again TOKAE!

Start ~> Run ~> regedit

Navigate to :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management

Look for the key. The REG_DWORD "PagedPoolSize" 

Double click on "PagedPoolSize". Hexadecimal is listed first.
Change the "Value Data" to one of these below:
Note: You only need to enter EITHER Hexadecimal or Decimal.
They both are the same. I recomend using 256Mb should solve the problem.

Megabytes Hexadecimal Decimal
192Mb 0c000000 201326592
256Mb 10000000 268435456 <~~~~ I used this, it worked for me.
384Mb 18000000 402653184

You do not need anything bigger than 400Mb... in most cases 300Mb is too much as well.
After doing this, REBOOT! Then start up CoD:WaW

At patch 1.3, nothing was wrong and I was playing CoD: WaW with no problems at all.
Now with patch 1.4, every time I attempt to join a server and it's loading the map (new or old),
it shuts down the game, saying 'Direct3DDevice9::present failed: Driver internal error',
and giving a popup saying 'Unhandled exception caught'.
EDIT: ONLY NEW MAPS, AFTER UPDATING EVERYTHING ONLY THE NEW MAPS CRASH!
I can play zombies: Verrúckt though. Shitted my pants .

I have removed DirectX from my computer, and installed the one on the CoD disc.
I have downloaded the newest version of the .NET Framework
I have got the original game
I haven't got any hacks, cracks, mods or .cfg files installed.
I have updated my drivers. Twice.
I have rebooted my computer. 4 times.

My rig from SystemLabRequirements.com:

Minimum: Pass
Recommended: No data
My system specs were here, issue fixed now.

1.7 Patch Unable to Install.

Hello all. For some reason I have something very odd going on. Game runs fine under version 1.6. In game it shows I have version 1.6.1252.

When installing 1.7 Patch I get the following error.
"Please install the Call Of Duty World At War 1.6 Patch before applying the Call Of Duty World at War 1.7 patch"

But I have version 1.6 already. So I tried and downloaded 1.6 again - this gives exactly the same error but saying I must install 1.5 first. 1.5 Says I must install 1.4 first and so on.

It seems any version of patch I try to install does not see the previous version so will not install. Any help would be greatly appreciated please. Many thanks.

Running Windows 7 64bit if that makes a difference.

Leaderboards are messed up!!! Multiplayer and zombies. Shows over 9bilion people have played. Score per ninute 290 TDM.. showing people with 100 score per minute ranked above me. Same with zombies round 30..  shows me ranked in the millions.

Whenever I try to load black ops multiplayer it gets to the FETCHING STATS screen and just sits there forever.

When I look at the task manager it says black ops multiplayer is not responding.

What can I do???

Black ops acting really weird, doesn't say "teamdeathmatch" or "friendly spy plane inbound" nor do any of the characters speak anymore...weird thing is that sometimes midgame it will announce "team deathmatch" but after the match it signs me out.help please.all other games work fine.

Hey guys,

 

Does anyone know how to get the Nuketown 2025 Calling card?

I have pre-ordered Black ops 2 and received the bonus map: Nuketown 2025.

 

The problem is that I have seen in-game players with a very cool Nuketown 2025 Calling Card.

Everytime I ask how they get it they awnser: "I pre-ordered black ops 2".
Well...so did I, yet I can't find my title!

 

Is there a way to still get the Nuketown 2025 title?
If everyone received it who pre-ordered the game, I deserve to have it aswell!

Black ops 2 zombies rank error

A few weeks ago, after a zombie game, I was greeted by a message that told me to do an update do to a status change. When I completed the update I got another message saying "Error, it appears as though the persistant rank data for "My Gamertag" has  been corrupt. Your rank has been restored to the most recently stored backup lvl 3. After agreeing to the message I was deranked to a skull with no tally markes (my previous rank being a skull with 5 tally markes and blue eyes).  Yesterday, after just recently ranking back up to the skull with 5 tallys again, I was greeted with the same dreaded message. The same process repeated itself as I was once again reset back to just a skull. It seems as though it is immposible for me to rank past the skull with 5 tallys onto a skull with a dagger through it. probation periods

I play only hardcore and there are a lot of idiots who run in front of you when your shooting.  Resulting in their death, of course.  When three people on your team die by your hand your kicked. This is fine by me. My problem is there are a lot and I mean a lot of idiots out there, and I've been kicked enough that now I'm being put on a 5 min. probation period. Now I have killed a teammate on purpose, because of a teammate trying to kill me and steal a carepackage I've called in.  I'm not trying to say I haven't left a game early, sometimes I have because certain things at home need to he done.  Such as, letting dog out or back in, warring in groceries, honey do items, etc.   What I'm trying to say is this is bull.  When I get kicked now all the time I'm having to wait. Why should it be my fault if I'm shooting out a door and a teammates sees that and still runs out anyway.  Why do I have to pay for all the film ___  people playing hardcore.
